Basilides Barna
He began his studies at the Graphic Department of the National Hungarian School of Applied Arts in 1920 and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 1925, the same year he went on a study trip to Italy. During this period, he co-founded the Society of Spiritual Artists. From 1929, he participated in the exhibitions of the KÉVE group. In 1940-1941, he was a scholarship holder at the Collegium Hungaricum in Rome and served as the artistic director of the "Műbarát" exhibition venue.
